“Totally let down by […] hospital. Government guide lines not followed delays / back logs. Failure to phone results so I found out myself from patient portal. Found I had cancer by an answer machine message. Told stage 1 but eventually after 3 months sent for mri and ct scans told stage 3b ) no lymph node involvement. Transfer to another hospital with 2 weeks tests transfusions and major surgery. Results double edged sword. Managed to remove all the cancer was only safe to remove 2 lymph nodes safely both are infected so now transferred to […] cancer team for further treatment.”
