Natasha Asghar (South Wales East): Will the Cabinet Secretary provide the Senedd with a report from the ministerial summit on gynaecological services in Wales that was held on 8 July 2024?
Mark Drakeford: The ministerial gynaecological summit held on 08 July 2024 was organised to bring together representatives from health boards, Velindre University NHS Trust, the NHS Wales Executive and the Welsh Government to make clear our collective focus on improving access to and the performance of gynaecology services across Wales.
I can confirm that my officials are drafting a report summarising the discussions, outcomes and priorities from the summit, which will be published later this year.
We want the report of a recent ministerial summit made public, to better understand the decisions made and hold to account those responsible. We will continue to follow this up over the autumn.
